Step 4: Wait for Confirmation

The system monitors the blockchain for your payment:

Exchange Rate Locking

When you create a crypto invoice:

1. The current exchange rate is locked for 30 minutes
2. The crypto amount is calculated at the locked rate
3. If the rate changes, you still pay the original amount
4. This protects both you and us from volatility

Payment Timeout

Each crypto invoice expires after 30 minutes:

• If not paid within 30 minutes, the invoice expires
• The exchange rate may have changed
• Simply create a new invoice to get a fresh rate

Self-Hosted Wallets

Our crypto payment system is fully self-hosted:

• We generate wallet addresses from our own xpub keys
• No third-party payment processor (like Coinbase Commerce or BitPay)
• No custody — we control the addresses directly
